During this time frame Hobnail lamp shades were used on vanity and small table lamps, often with a matching font. However the origins of these shades are much earlier. They were originally used on oil lamps during Victorian times.  Embossed hobnail pattern shade has ruffled crimp top. Use as replacement lampshades on antique oil lamps and vintage table lamps.
